CREAF participates in the Geoscience Online meeting EGU2020

Due to the current circumstances, the General Assembly on Geoscience that was going to take place all this week in Vienna has become virtual. You can follow it with the hashtag #shareEGU20 and some CREAF researchers are participating.

The assembly’s topic will be around the Covid-19 and how its impact on research and scientific collaboration could be minimized. From today, 4th, to Friday, May 8th, you can follow a huge variety of sessions formats to choose, from the scientific community session, with live chats with the authors, to symposia, great debates, short courses, and even, a photo competition of the event! You can also meet two artists around science with #shareEGUart.

CREAF’s scientific coordinator, Alícia Pérez-Porro, takes part in the definition of the European framework for science diplomacy

Shaping binding regulations, policy guidelines and action plans requires connecting cross-cutting knowledge that includes science, diplomacy and public management. This is the embryo of a series of 5 working groups promoted by the European Commission in which Alicia Pérez-Porro, CREAF’s scientific coordinator, is involved.
