Department of Institutional and External Affairs and Relations and Transparency, has published a monograph on the 2030 Agenda in which the different types of challenges involved are described. CREAF has led and written the chapter on biodiversity conservation, which is described below.

CREAF signs the document as a member of Severo Ochoa & Maria de Maeztu Alliance (SOMMa).  The signatories demand a national pact that includes long-term strategies aimed at promoting frontier science and business innovation. The document aims to add and provide strategic solutions to the recent Pact for Science and Innovation that the Government has just announced.

In 2016 CREAF have published 205 articles indexed on SCI, which maintains the rising tendency of the last years. 77% of our publications were in scientific magazines located in the first quartile, among which several Nature and Science.
