La revista europea sobre agua Revolve repasa los cuatro casos de estudio que tiene en marcha el proyecto BeWater que coordina el CREAF. Descubre en estos enlaces como avanzan los estudio en La Tordera, Cataluña, el Vipava, Eslovenia, el Rmel, en Túnez y el Pedieos en Chipre.

Cyprus’s Pedieos River Basin

The BeWater project aims to promote dialogue and collaboration between science and society for water management adaptation plans that address the impacts of global climate change in the Mediterranean. The Pedieos River Basin in Cyprus is one of four Mediterranean Case Study River Basins of the project. Tunisia’s Rmel River Basin

Rmel is one of four case studies about Mediterranean river basins that comprise theBeWater project. Like most Mediterranean countries, Tunisia is already being affected by climate change: rising temperatures and recurrent droughts are altering the spatial and temporal distribution of rainfall and consequently of water resources.

Spain’s Tordera River Basin

Tordera is one of four Mediterranean Case Study River Basins of the BeWater project: making society an active participant in water adaptation to global change. Tordera River Basin is located in the northern part of Catalonia in Spain and presents overall Mediterranean climate conditions but with a high environmental diversity, ranging from the temperate areas at the headwaters mountaintop to the typical Mediterranean conditions in its delta area.
